Ramblings…

Well this past weekend was wonderful.  D and I went out to the Piano Bar, and I had a wonderful time as usual. We met up with some other friends afterwords for a birthday celebration.  There was a lot of good music and beer flowing… in other words, it was great   The only down side was that Baby Girl decided to wake up at 2 am and not go back to sleep for the sitter.  So we hauled our butts home and put her to bed.  I wasnt disappointed since it was already pretty late.

Saturday was a nice lazy morning / afternoon before we had to head out to a birthday party and a festival.  The birthday party was definitely interesting…. really, I think my family is crazy.  Im sure Im not alone in that.  But the festival was just a good time.  I guess its been going on for like 40+ years, and Ive never heard of it.  Baby Girl did great even though she was up until about 11pm!  And a few friends came back to our house for a bonfire and some Euchre.  We’ve been playing Euchre a lot lately, and I love it.  It had been a while since we played, but now its becoming a regular thing.  One girl was still learning, so I kind of felt bad for her since we all are pretty good.  But Im sure with some more practice, she will catch on.  Its a fairly difficult game to learn.  I’ll be sad when we move away and we wont have anyone to play with us.

And in other good news… Baby Girl’s ringworm is back.  Oh joy.  I guess they are extremely serious when they say to apply the cream for two weeks.  10 days is not good enough.  I guess after a week and a half I started to forget to put it on her… I mean, the spot was already gone so I didnt see it anymore to remind me.  Dang it!

Wine Night with the best tomorrow.  I have to say, I am really looking forward to it.

Oh, and Ive done 10+ interviews today.  Its been interesting.  Thats for sure.
