I was happy to see that the two senators from Michigan received A+s on the Congressional Veteran Report Card. It makes me proud to think that they are doing what they can for military members. I really like both Senator Stabenow and Senator Levin. And they are both good at replying to emails and letters. I received a lengthy letter of explanation from Sentor Levin regarding his thoughts on the bailout. Im glad that he took the time to address the concerns of those of us that he is elected to serve.
Also, D and I watched the debate last night. All the back and forth finger pointing got a bit annoying. I just wanted to hear the answers. Tell me what you are going to do. Tell me how you feel. Stop saying – well he did this! And I didnt! Is this third grade?
I got gas yesterday for $3.11. That was the lowest price I’ve paid in a VERY long time. I would almost get excited…but I still put about $60 a week in my gas tank.
Even though I love fall… I hate my allergies. And I really hate all the colds/ viruses / flu going around. I feel like I need to wear a mask at all times in my germ infested office. Ick.
I found the debate sooo boring! It was just the same “stuff” (that’s the nicest word I can use here). And usually, I enjoy the “town hall” forum. But the candidates seemed bored to me.
Here in Kansas — I was able to get gas for $3.05 the other day! First time in a long time I could fill my tank (mini-van) for less then $50!
I would kill to pay for gas that cheap. We’re still paying $3.60 here, and thats LOW!
H6H: I found it a bit boring too. Along with annoying…. I thought since it was a town hall it would be al ittle different… more exciting.
AW: Sadly a week ago $3.60 was low for us…but over the past week its dropped dramatically. And Ill take it when I can get it!
