Thats exactly what the Obama tv spot yesterday was. I thought it was amazing, and it nearly brought tears to my eyes a few times. The stories of the everyday people that were struggling really made it hit home even more. I know a lot of people that are in similar situations, and they need help. Truthfully, they need someone to actually care, and not to just say they care. And I really belive that Obama does.
I know that people are out there criticizing him for spending that amount of money, but I think it was well spent. The video was well put together, but not over the top. I think it will strike a chord with the middle class families, like it was intended to. Im so glad that we turned the tv on last night just in time to catch it starting. It really was powerful.

I was particulary touched by the portrayal of the obese family around a table whining about not having enough food. That one did indeed bring tears to my eyes!
