Well happy belated 4th of July. I was much too lazy this past weekend to actually get around to saying that on the 4th. I hope you all had wonderful holiday weekends.
Mine weekend was nice and relaxing, just the way I like it. Actually looking back we didn’t do a whole lot of anything. Saturday we went to a friends house for a bbq and to watch some neighborhood fireworks. Then we had a bonfire and drank some beers. Ahhh… summertime bliss.
One major thing that happened was that my Baby Girl asked me to use the potty! I almost fainted. She’s not even 21 months old yet. She was all about getting on the potty and trying. I’m not exactly sure where it came from, but we are going with it. I got her one of those small seats that go on the big toilet. She is content to sit on there for a good 5 minutes. She’s happy as a clam sitting there with no pant on. I guess I wasn’t ready for this yet, I thought we had another 4-6 months before we would even try to potty train her. So we will just see how it goes.
